Recap: Binaries

Thoroughly Understanding Binaries

Recently I wrote about binaries in this writing:

Assume a world of binary and everything is either good or bad. This sounds simple, every time I do something it’s either good or bad.

But every once in a while I’d like to re-introduce you to some of my older writings that cover the same topic. Binaries are one of the stickiest thought errors there are, and reading about it from multiple perspectives will help you understand it to a different depth. So without further ado, please enjoy my previous writings on binaries.

Brown Is A Color

When we feel paralyzed by our own failures, we have to understand that just because we have moments of failures we’re not failures. Even when we are actively going through moments of failures, we still have options; we don’t have to submit to the flow of failure.

Misunderstood

There is no right or wrong or good or bad, we come from different individual histories and contextual definitions of what is anything. The more we can talk our differences out, the more we can see that in the end we are all on the same side.

One Person's Dream

When we break it down like this, it’s clear to see that the same activity, same life circumstance can be one man’s dream AND it can also be one person’s nightmare. Nothing about performing is strictly dreamy or nightmarish; it’s just contextual to a person’s life and desires.

Making Life Make Sense

But if we were to generalize, think all good things have one thing in common: things either go according to our desires OR even better than what we desired. Conversely, all bad things have one thing in common: things don’t go our way OR it goes even worse than we thought.

Just like the previous email, my graphic designer and I are working on this new template for emails. If you like it, please let me know! If something looks funky, please let me know! If you have anything else to share, please let me know!
