Today let me start with the bottom line. I have an online course about how to get clients for your online business on Reddit for $9.99. It doesn’t take longer than a few hours to complete, and I genuinely think it’s the best platform to start snowballing your online presence.
In January I’m planning to run a group program to work on the presence building together. I’m not going to just tell you what to do; I’m going to do it with you so you can see how I do it and ask questions around how you can do it. Guess what? When you enroll in the course by the end of this year, you will automatically be enrolled into the group program.
The program will be $500 starting January 1st, 2026. Get the course by December 31st, 2025 and get $500’s worth of training for free. My group programs are amazing and set you up for long term success and I’d love for you to be a part of it with this offering.
NOW. Let’s start this writing over. The above was the message I wanted to just share with you today. But as I thought about sharing this I felt some things I wanted to share with you as well.
I’d love for all of my writings to be applicable for everyone. To extend that a little bit more, I’d love for all of the things I do to be beneficial for everyone. Unfortunately sometimes I find from experience that not all of the topics I write about are necessarily universal. If you’re a devout Christian, you probably don’t care much about my elaborate explanations around Buddhist theories.
Also it’s not like all of my writings are read by everyone in my audience. So there’s a chance that you may find the writing applicable to you, but you might not open that particular writing. There’s also a chance you decide to open one of my writings and on that particular day you don’t find it applicable to you.
What if you’re a college student or a young adult trying to find a job? My offer around Reddit has nothing to do with you. I feel like I’m doing you a disservice if I’m writing things that have nothing to do with you. But at the same time I can’t guarantee that what I think is applicable to you is necessarily actually applicable to you.
I want to be good to you. That’s what comes up for me a lot. But you might not like what I say, you might not like this thing I’m talking about today. That doesn’t necessarily equate to me being bad to you, though; I guess what I really want to say is, every time I talk about something I want to give you a little bit more information about ME, and why I thought about saying it so that even if the topic isn’t necessarily applicable to you, you get to know me a little bit better.
Ok. So why do I care so much about Reddit? Why do I keep selling my Reddit course with my ads and why do I recommend it so much to other people? I think it ultimately comes down to, “this is a really quirky site where I can enjoy being on it while helping people at the same time”.
This isn’t really exclusive to Reddit; you could enjoy being on LinkedIn (really? haha) and help people there. You could enjoy being on TikTok and help people there (I actually know a ton of people who do this already). But Reddit has a very strong advantage over these other platforms, and it’s that it is seen as a reliable source of organic information. It’s basically like Yelp, but for general human experiences.
When you go to a new neighborhood in America and want reliable restaurant recommendations, you’d at least consult Yelp (I begrudgingly say this as I used to work for a competitor to Yelp). So just like this, if you’re looking for recommendations on how to think about things, how to act, what to do you’d look on Reddit. You generally do this in 2025 whether you’re actively on the Reddit website or not.
Back in 2022 I was a coach who was confident I could help people, and I wanted to help people. I just didn’t know how to get started. Reddit gave me a place to start and it gave me a lot of exposure and results compared to the time I spent there. And I genuinely believe the internet became a slightly better place with more hope and less suffering because I spent time there to write things.
Now imagine the impact we would have on the internet when more coaches with good intentions go on Reddit to help people out. Imagine a post full of comments that cultivate the OP’s self authority instead of comments that farm karma. I think that would genuinely be a more helpful internet for the world. That’s why I care so much about having more coaches and online business owners be on Reddit.
Next time I’ll write a bit more about why I’m planning to do a group program about this. Again, you might not like this; but I hope that you got to know me a little bit better through this. Check out my Thinkific home to find all my online courses. My media team is playing around with the course so you may find multiple Reddit courses; sign up to any one of them and I’ll make sure your lifelong access is always available to you.
