Hi!
Today I’m sharing the writings for the week and also I want to ask for a bit of your help. Two things:
- Do you have experience in the nonprofit world, and especially around organizing events? I need to learn in general about that world because I, being a social recluse, have never went to one of those fancy fundraising events and need to learn a bit more about that world. Please let me know if you have some time for me to share your knowledge and experience.
- Are ANY of you hiring? For any position? I’ll write more in the upcoming days about why, but I am looking for some information about the job market itself and some positions that are available. Please let me know if you are!
Please email me at billy@julylifecoach.com to let me know, thank you very much! I’d be happy to discuss compensation for your time.
With that said, here are the writings for this week:
One of my favorite things to say, but at the same time the thing that makes me so punchable (according to my sister): when you’re asking how, you don’t want to do it.
Another punchable statement: it’s not that you don’t know, you don’t want to know because it keeps you in the same place.
I think all suffering is fundamentally ridiculous, but when we’re caught up within ourselves it’s so difficult to see the ridiculousness. This writing is again, unfortunately, fairly punchable.
Korea removed its SECOND president! Read more about the Korean history and context around this.
Your #1 enemy in the finding of yourself will likely be hesitation. Learn from my mistakes when it comes to hesitation!
Buddha didn’t have an iPhone or the internet, so with all this knowledge and data shouldn’t awakening be more accessible than ever? I think so.
Wow, I wrote a lot of punchable things. But I’d rather you punch me and find happiness than suffer! Have a great start of the week and remember, the pathway to happiness can also be happy.
