I’m having a wee bit of a tough time. “How?” Well, I’m on such a roll, I find myself glued in front of the computer and I don’t have time to do anything else. “Why?” Because I realized I am free.
If the above paragraph confuses you, I tried to emulate this:
Well that reveals my age. Anyhow, in case you missed it I launched a brand new service in my existing suite of services, called July Life Coach Technology Services.
It started out with my website, julylifecoach.com. I just wanted to see, compared to my existing website, two things:
- How much it would relatively be more difficult to create a replica of my existing website via code instead of a GUI editor
- How much it would relatively be easier to code a website now that I have a coding agent
And I was completely blown away by how trivial it was to create something so much more powerful with such little effort on my end.
Then I had a client reach out to work on their website and they also had a similar experience. They spent a considerable amount of time working on minor tweaks to how the website looked… Then I gave them an entirely new website based on their specs in like 15 minutes. It blew their mind away.
It’s been around a week since I started playing with my new technology stack, but my brain went through a bunch of ups and downs during that time.
What happened first was, a bit of doubt and uncertainty. “Is it supposed to be this easy and good?”.
Then, a bit of fear. “Wow, all the ideas I had backlogged are done. I’m kinda afraid of all of this working really well for some reason.”
Interestingly, then I had even more confusion. “Wait, do I really want this? Does this belong here? How should I structure this?”
Now I’m at the point where I’m fearlessly moving forward. Even if something doesn’t make full sense right now, because I have the power to deploy forward I’m going to choose to do that and deal with the after-effects.
This is what happened to my website in the last week.

And here’s how much all of this is costing me:
Isn’t that nice? This used to be at least 200$ per month. I pay the enterprise AI Ultra subscription but because I use that to build your platform you don’t pay for it. It’s likely that your cost will be under $5 for a very long time after you work with me.
But beyond the numbers, here’s what I’m really experiencing: a sense of liberty in my creativity. I didn’t know I had this many ideas inside of me that just keeps on unraveling like a clown’s string of handkerchiefs. All of this lived within me, but because of technical limitations I wasn’t able to access it.
Writing code like this was literally impossible last year around this time. So it makes sense that I didn’t have access to achieving all of this with the time, aptitude, and capacity I had. But that actually has nothing to do with my creativity. I can be blocked, but still have access to my ideas and creativity.
The hard truth is, I’m a human being. So I’m subject to the human mind. The human mind does this thing my wife calls “the flea effect”; when you enclose a flea in a glass container for a while and open the top of the glass container, the flea won’t be able to jump out of it even if it has the capacity to. It got used to the limitations.
This isn’t a good or a bad thing. This just is. But as we are humans and have more brain capacity than fleas, we should be able to access our creativity to its fullest. Unfortunately lived experiences tell us that we’re more used to living with our limitations.
Although I’m primarily talking about technology services right now, the same thing can be seen in life coaching. There are sessions when something finally clicksfor a client and they’re liberated from a limitation that lived inside of their head.
The momentary release and feeling of freedom is great, but what’s really empowering is the floodgate of power and self-ownership they get to access after the release. “Wow, so if I’m the owner of my life and I can exercise ownership in this way… Then that means… I can also allow myself to do this!”.
The amount of traffic, money savings, these are all part of the results that come from the other side of being liberated from a technical limitation. And to me that was a gateway into realizing that we’re all still living under a limited state. It’s up to us to continue to look into ourselves for our dreams, our aspirations, and what we want to do with our lives…
Regardless of the limitations.
